Of course all BOC meetings are important, but this specific meeting was particularly important because that's when Charlice Byrd (Georgia State Representative) presented Cherokee County E-911 with the award for being the State of Georgia's 911 Call Center of the Year.
They were presented this on March 27th, 2024 at the Georgia Emergency Communications Conference in Athens, GA. Congratulations to Cherokee County's E-911 Center on this amazing award!!!! Keep being amazing!
